Welcome to the Office of the Public Sector Integrity Commissioner's website

Disclosure of wrongdoing in the public sector is a courageous and commendable act of service.

The Office of the Public Sector Integrity Commissioner of Canada offers a safe, confidential and independent mechanism for public servants or members of the public to disclose potential wrongdoing in the federal public sector. It conducts investigations on the information disclosed and makes recommendations to Chief Executives for corrective measures.

The Office also protects against reprisals public servants who disclose wrongdoing and those who have cooperated in an investigation. It investigates reprisal complaints and attempts to resolve them, if possible, through conciliation. When appropriate, the Office refers reprisal cases to the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Tribunal for decision and remedial and/or disciplinary action. The Office ensures a fair and objective process for all persons involved in a disclosure or reprisal case.

*Please note that the Office of the Public Sector Integrity Commissioner does not accept formal disclosures of wrongdoing or complaints of reprisal via e-mail or this website. As electronic transmission is not secure, its use is not recommended for transmitting personal information.
